English Learning Story

At the end of Boy Meets Girl Part 2:  The three large dogs got away from the tall lay and began running towards a pack of other dogs in the park.  The lady fell down.  Athina's mom liked the CazyHotBoy while her father just glared at him.  CrazyHotBoy's mom was shocked he knew a girl and may have a girlfriend and was so surprised.

 

Let begin part 3.....

All of a sudden the lady tripped and fell down. 

The dogs got loose and began running towards a bunch other dogs in the park barking.

They ran over to the lady to see if she was hurt.......

 

She was upset and looking around for her dogs.  Her knee was scraped and she had a little blood.  She seemed ok.

Free stayed with the lady while Athina ran after the dogs.  The lady yelled after her " you have to grab them because they don't listen at all.  They are very independent and naughty.

 

After what seemed like just a minute Athina was walking towards them with the dogs at her side without her having to hold the leashes or yell at them.   The lady was amazed.

When she arrived near them, she motioned with a downward motion of her hand and the dogs immediately sat down.

After a minute of thanking Athina the lady gathered up the dogs by their leashes and checked herself to see if she was ready to go.  Everything seemed ok and she said goodbye, thank you so much, and began her journey home.

While walking home the neighbor lady about what she would make the kids to thank them for helping out.

 

Athina and Free looked at each other.  Victory!  Success!  an smiled knowingly.    These two communicated without saying anything.  After a little while walking, Free asked Athina how she got control of the dogs so easily and why did they listen to her.

Athina smiled and said "I don't know, I guess the dogs liked me".   This was the first time she wasn't 100% honest with Free.  He looked at her oddly as if he knew there was more to the story.

After some silence Athina said that she always was able to communicate with animals and they always did what she wanted because they could tell she was kind and would not harm them.   She had a calming effect on animals.

Free asked if it was all animals and Athina said she thought so.  CrazyHotBoy said when they grow up they should go to africa and see if it worked with lions, giraffes, and monkeys.

Athina laughed and said lions and giraffes were fine but she was afraid of monkeys.

Free said that she had a superpower.  Athina asked Free "Do you have a superpower?"  Free was quiet for too long.  He took too long to answer and she punched him in the arm lightly and said spit it out.

Free said his superpower was with girl's moms but he had a weakness with girl's dads.   Ha!  Athina knew he was trying to avoid the question.

She looked at him and said she was sorry about how the dad acted.  Free said, no problem and that she probably would face similar looks and glares from his mom.  She loved his sense of humor.

 

Free asked if she really wouldn't be afraid of a lion and she shook her head and said no way.  He asked what would she do if they ran into a monkey.  She laughed and said that she would hide behind him.   He wondered if he was afraid of monkeys.

As they approached Athina's house her dad was out in the yard working.  The dad said Hello Free what have you two been up to today?  His voice sounds friendly and he smiled.

100% for sure Athina's mom talked to him....
