Cute Story: Boy Meets Girl Part 2
In the first English Story, we learned about the boy and girl and we began to like the boy and girl. We can understand that the boy and girl like each other and had not seen each other for a while.
Let's continue this cute love story.
What if she does not remember me?
She came out of the house and immediately saw me and smiled.
She ran up to me and said
“Nice to see you again!
I have been looking everywhere for you!”
I said “Me Too!”
Both of them stood smiling and silent.
It wasn't an uncomfortable quiet.
The two of them were enjoying the moment.
They understood that they understood each other and that they both liked each other.
After a minute or two they both changed and were suddenly shy and kind of embarrassed.
Neither one knew what to say. They were tongue tied.
It was one thing to like each other and flirt.
It was another thing, to kind of be looking at each other and know it face to face.
All of a sudden, her mom came over and said
"Athina does your friend want to come inside and drink some hot chocolate and eat some cookies?
Both had funny looks.
He did not know her name and thought Athina was the most beautiful name he ever heard.
She was not sure how to introduce him to her mom. She had to introduce him.
Should she say his name is CrazyhHotBoy? (applause).
Or say his name is "Free"? (boo)
She was confused and was not sure what to say.
Luckily at that exact minute, Athina's dad called out:
"Athina I need you right now to get my phone on wifi!"
He sounded like she had better come right away.
Athina thought fast.
She looked at her mom and said "could you take him inside? I need to go help dad right away."
Everyone knows that kids are better at technology these days.
Her mom nodded and Athina hurried away.
Close Call!
Her dad didn't need help at all.
When she went to see him he stood with his hands on his hips. (bad for her)
"Who is that young man? and... How do you know him?"
Again, Athina had to think fast.
She smiled and said she knew him for about 6 months and talked to him about ten times and she thought he was really a nice gentleman.
Her dad was taken aback by her honesty and the fact that his little girl was growing up and now maybe had a boyfriend!
Athina told him they were having hot chocolate and they should go in the kitchen with mom.
When they got to the kitchen mom and CrazyHotBoy were chatting and laughing.
He was telling her about some of the funny neighbors and what they do. Athina over heard him talking about the lady across the street that had 3 big dogs she walked and how funny it was because it looked like the dogs would walk her. She was a thin, tall woman and it looked so funny.
it was obvious that the mom liked the boy and it was all ok. If the mom liked him, the dad would have to like him.
Athina was not sure about that.
The dad didn't talk to the boy, just looked at him sizing him up.
It was getting to be time for lunch and Free's mom messaged to come home and eat lunch
---- saved by the mom (again).
He excused himself and looked at Athina. He tried to communicate with his eyes that everything was alright.
He said "I'll see you soon" and Athina said "I hope so" and the mom smiled at them and the dad looked like he saw a ghost.
When Free got home his mom asked him where he was. He told her he met the neighbors and their daughter was a girl he knew and that he liked a lot.
Oh Oh ..... His mom looked worried and not that happy for him. She said "A girl?' in a surprised voice. her little boy was growing up and she was about as happy about this news as was Athina's dad.
Th next day they met in the park Their special place. They joked about the dad and the mom an agreed they had to make a plan to control the situation.
They were a good team.
They saw the lady across the street walking her dogs, or rather the dogs walking the lady.
All of a sudden the lady tripped and fell down.
The dogs got loose and began running towards a bunch other dogs in the park barking.
They ran over to the lady to see if she was hurt.......
